The match maker obviously needs to accommodate an invite system for friends that also allows random public users to join too. Currently, this is the most prominent complaint amongst the playerbase. If the developers fail to address this issue, Dead by Daylight is going to be very short lived. Mark my words.
AT release, the game will have a Kill Your Friends mode. You can start a lobby and invite 1-4 people in for a private, non ranked match. You can use items and perks and offerings you already have but will not gain any experience or blood points in these private matches.
Survivor group, the ability to play with 1-3 of your friends in a public, ranked match (random killer) will be available soon AFTER release, but not at release. It is the Devs top priority.
Correct. ANd it will only be survivors, you can have a friend be killer and two others be survivors and then find one more random survivor to play. IN the public matches you will be able to group up and play as survivors.
The devs are aware of the issues this can cause with a survivor group being overpowering with the ability to use 3rd party VOIP and all, that is why it is not ready yet and not ready at release. They want it balanced well.
