Level up Onryo if you have her. Floods of Rage for Aura reading, Call of Brine for gen regression and Merciless Storm for gen slowdown.

If not, Pinhead and Deathslinger.
That's what i just did thank you! perks are nice

They are both really strong, but at my MMR personally, Merciless Storm gets me HUGE value in chases as I can usually pressure off the gen at the last moment and get it blocked, especially with Tinkerer letting me know which direction to apply pressure.
I went with this and got it unlocked it said i need presitge 3 to unlock for all killers but one seemed to do it for some reason bug maybe?
Prestige 3 to unlock level 3 perks, prestige 1 to unlock level 1 perks.

No you only need P1 for it to show up tier1 in all killers web. P3 will have it show up in all killers webs as Tier 3.

Better off Just P1'in killers until you get all the perks you want unlocked on all killers.

Current Meta perks:

Active Regression(you have to kick)

-Call of brine
-Eruption
-Overcharge(against Low MMR)

Passive Regression (You get Via playing normally)

-deadlock
-Corrupt Intervention
-Scourge: Pain resonance
-Jolt
-Dead mans switch

Most Comp players will do a mix of both types of regression along the lines of:

Brine/Eruption/Pain resonance/CI

The active regression Is better when you plan on holding a 3/4gen area.

I unlocked the perks but i can still level them in the blood pack thing? seems kinda pointless to add prestige 3 for level 3 unlock i guess?

I just unlocked call of brine and used it with pinhead and gift of pain and jolt + deadlock seemed pretty OP problem with it is pinhead is quite slow and can be frustrating to run full regen slowdowns might have to add 2 chase perks to add up.

It's more for when new characters come out, you'll have the perks, immediately, on them.

well if want the best slowdowns sadako, and nemesis have the best ones being call of brine, and eruption, but personally i don't like kicking gens so I rather go with deadlock which is a pinhead perk, combo that with dead mans switch which is deathslinger perk. Thats assuming you have purchased those killers. If you are going with just free killers billy enduring combo that with spirits spirit fury perk is a great duo perk for eating pallets on m1 killers like legion.

I find it hard to believe this, but ok.
Sounds like a skill issue on your end. Most of the time i start throwing games because it gets too easy.

I played that mutated killer that creates dark for the first time last night with zero perks again'st flashlight abusers and still won the game IDK what your doing. Maybe you picked a killer and got a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ map for the killer you selected IDK
you didn't 4k with 0 perks vs a flashlight squad stop lying

I recommend Otzdarva's videos on the topic: https://youtu.be/B0t6am0Mz74
Otz used to have a video where he talked about "recommended leveling paths" for Killers but I can't find that video, so here's my recommendation for Killer paths to unlock:

Gen Kicking Build
  • Doctor (The main perk you want is Overcharge to regress generators fast. Monitor and Abuse is also very strong.)
  • Trapper (Optional for Brutal Strength to kick generators faster. By no means mandatory but can be a nice combo.)
  • Nemesis (Licensed) (Eruption has very good synergy if you kick gens frequently. It will cause the generators to blow up again when you down a Survivor which will buy you more time and give you potential information if a Survivor was holding onto the gen and screams.)

Scourge Hook Build
  • Artist (The main perk you want is Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance. It will spawn 4 white hooks on the map and if you hook a Survivor on one of these hooks the gen with the most progress will lose some progress. Artist's other perks are okay but the main one you want is PainRes.)
  • Onryō (Sadako - Licensed) (Optional for Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage which will give you good information whenever anyone gets unhooked)
  • Cenobite (Pinhead - Licensed Hellraiser chapter) (Optional for Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain. This perk isn't crazy but it'll synergize with Pain Resonance and make Survivors do gens slower until you hit them again.)
  • Other than that you can just run detection perks or chase perks, as Pain Resonance will often be enough generator stall.
  • There's also a free perk Scourge Hook: Monstrous Shrine which... isn't great, but it will make the basement hooks Scourge Hooks and also make Survivors get sacrificed faster which can be good.

Hex Stall Build
I'd consider this a more "advanced" build which also relies rather heavily on a perk from a licensed character (have to purchase with real money) but it's very effective if you play smart.
  • Cenobite (Pinhead - Licensed Hellraiser chapter) (The main perk you want is Hex: Plaything which will spawn a Hex whenever you hook a Survivor. This perk will make it so Survivors won't hear you coming. It's very strong but you need to be able to hook them beforehand.)
  • Artist (Hex: Pentimento only works on cleansed totems, and Survivors won't cleanse totems unless you give them a reason to. Hex: Plaything will give Survivors a reason to cleanse totems. Even having just one Pentimento totem will slow down gens a lot.)
  • You can run any other perk you want alongside these ones but I personally like Shattered Hope to break Boon totems (which you can then light with Pentimento) and Thrill of the Hunt (just makes it harder to cleanse totems and light boons.)

Hex Aggression Build
This build is focused more on winning through aggression than gen stall. Good if you think you can get downs easily.
  • Hag (Hex: Ruin is pretty weak as is Hex: The Third Seal (although Third Seal can be good at low ranks) but the main perk you want is Hex: Devour Hope. If a Survivor unhooks far away from you the perk gets a stack: at 3 stacks you can one shot Survivors you hit with your regular attacks, and at 5 stacks you can instantly kill them when you down them. It gives you a lot more lethality in a chase.)
  • Blight (Hex: Undying will give your hexes a second life, and Hex: Blood Favor can also block pallets to give you an easier time getting a second hit after securing the first one.)

Other than that if you want perks that will help you in a chase I recommend just reading them over and finding ones that you think will help you. Killers I'd recommend with good chase perks include Hillbilly (Enduring is really good if you play aggressively around pallets, and Tinkerer helps you control generators), Shape (IE Michael Myers) (Save the Best for Last is an incredibly strong perk atm), and Spirit (Spirit Fury is an incredibly powerful perk to counter pallets, and her other two perks can give you game pressure and knowledge on where Survivors are hiding)

I also really recommend both Legion and Nemesis (Licensed Killer from the first Resident Evil DLC) as a new Killer. Legion is very easy to play and comes with the perk Discordance which can help you find Survivors (their other two perks are really bad though.) Nemesis is very straightforward to play since he can break pallets with his tentacle in Tier 2, and has both Eruption and Lethal Pursuer which are very simple and strong perks that can fit into a variety of builds. (Hysteria is bad but they can't all be winners.)
And I'll make a quick passing mention of the Onryō (IE Sadako from the "Sadako Rising" chapter.) She's a very weak Killer but all three of her perks are strong especially if you're new to the game. But considering that you can't buy her with shards and she's very weak I wouldn't make her my first choice to purchase.
