I haven't seen a public beta branch available on steam since Dota 2, and it was/is offered as a free separate game, so this seems like it could be unstable to me...
LOL
"ACCESSING THE PUBLIC BETA
Note: This will download an update over the normal build. There is no way to have both builds available at the same time unfortunately.
Right-Click the Dead by Daylight Application in your Steam Library
Access Properties
Access the "Beta" Tab
Enter the password "DbdPublicBeta" (without quotes) in the Text Field
Click Check Code
Select "public-beta" from the dropdown
Restart Steam (not required, but this updates the UI properly and kicks off the download)"
I'm pretty sure the progress you get in the beta will not save. I'm just pretty bummed how we can't try out the survivor skins and have unlimited BPs for the beta to try out the new offerings, items, and addons.
Can't you just earn your 500k on the main build, then use that 500k on each web, should give you plenty of testing. Does anyone know if the webs are different each time? Anyway, I'll join you guys in a week after people have confirmed I'm safe (or when the new patch is released).
I kind of agree. We should kind of be given unlimited points.
Mine is downloading :(
