BlackWidow and Logitech gaming software BAN

So the patch needs to be reverted. If i have open my logitech gaming software and razoe synapse it blacklists. Needs to be reverted ASAP

AFAIK - a recorded Logitech macro by a g19 for example is transmitted as raw input. I may be wrong with this.

I was guessing the same thing, although i am not sure that is true for all devices.

For example can use the binding currently configured on my mouse even without the software installed (simple things like having E on the mouse, since many games use that as action), so something must be going on with the mouse itself.

The model i had before however, needed the software to be installed.

I use Logitech too, both keyboard and mouse. I too am banned. I get some kind of EAC thing that throws me out of the game. Nothing to resolve it, just out. :(

There isn't even a single legit reason to use macros in this game. The problem is people who use macros to farm points as killers which is a massive issue.

You can disable your macro software while you play the game very easily. Problem solved. The game's already very simple and accessible relying on two button presses for the most part(RMB/LMB exclusively) with only two QTE-like instances(A+D and space spam). There is no reason to have macro software running in this game. Period. This isn't vanilla World of WarCraft where you have 40+ buttons on your screen and a bunch of panic buttons you absolutely need to have at the tip of your fingers.

Fully exit the game and start again. If this does not fix then try fully exiting the game, and varifying game files. If this too does not work then you will need to contact the devs/support.

This problem sometimes happens due to a usb being unplugged or plugging in while the game is active. This can also occur if a program in the background activates or is closed while the game is active. ( Antivirus programs as an example. )

***The above is a copy and paste as I have replied to a lot of people who get this issue and it normally fixes it. Though your issue might be different due to the macro thing.***

ok i could install a software for key bindings on my mouse,.. but i don´t need that,.. i like to shred my keyboard :P ,.. no i think its crazy people who have a mouse with software and macros and so,.. can play ,.. but most of the others that don´t use "helping needfull things" are have an VAC EAC ban now,... realy fuzzy ,.. lol ( my wife use a razer mouse and keyboard she USE MACROS for wiggle ,.. she can play,.. hahahahahahahahahahah )

perhabs i try my 20 year old BALL mouse with only 2 buttons lol ,.. when it works ,.. and i find my ps2 to usb adapter xD,.. or wait i reaktivate my propertly working 100mhz intel cpu pc ,.. that should must be work :D

I don't know why people have so many problems regarding their hard- and software. I use a logitech G690 keyboard and R.A.T Catz 7 mouse and I run both softwares while DbD is running, without having macros or external keybindings programmed in their respective software. I didn't run into any problems after the patch.

I also hate people who consider external macros/keybindings a legitimate playstyle for "gamer", because it is something the software provides. Macros are legitimately banned in any competitive game, due to having too many benefits and being nearly undetectable without closer inspection. You can actually set different keybindings in your gameprofile and therefor using another software for it is simply another excuse. Benefitting through using macros/keybindings screws legitimate players over. Learn to play games without using macros and external keybindings.

yhea but now i have the feel that the devs have a good black humor ,.. and you´re right play games without help,.. ok when you have only one hand than i thing it´s ok to use a gaming mouse with some bindings,.. but two handet people ,.. funny is at time that the most people that use that helping macros can play and the fair gamer not ,... it´s a paradoxum xD ( like i sayd i don´t use the software for my mouse i don´t install it yet ,. cause i don´t use it,.. my wife use it and she can play hahahaha )

ok i have found a thing that works by me ,.. i shut off my soundcard in bios ,.. now i have no sound , but i can play Oo ,.. aehhr ja , thats funny , perhabs my mic is a hacker or use macros ......

It is required for some of their headsets so it cannot be turned off in all cases. In any event, I have had no issues with it.

I have razer synapse running without issue. I do not have any macros on it.

No issues from using my Razer Synapse or Logitech software.

If anyone is getting "Cheater Detected' then it is not related to the software.
