This is a good strategy to use with Resiliance. Heal yourself, but not completely. Leave it right at the top at repair generators/sabotage/other things. Then, once the Killer spots you or is nearby, you can fully heal yourself for the safety.
I agree. I heard that even if you skip the perks that appear on the bloodweb, there is a chance it will just reappear again in the next blood web after the entity consumes it previously. So its best to buy it anyways.
If you have nothing else, it can be a useful perk, but if you have other choices, you should go with them.
You can also just carry a medkit with you with this perk.
I use it now and then, I think it helps when ur wounded and last up xp. I escaped with 1 sec to spare from that 9% fixing a gen bonus, while a blood covered camper was camping hard.
