It's insanely fast
Anyone who says it isn't useful obviously hasn't tried it. Makes saves anywhere amazing, allowing both of you to escape much easier.
Edit: Forgot to mention how useful the timer is. 90 seconds I believe it is, enough time to help someone who is down or heal other people. Very good perk to take if you're great with Altruism.
And yes it does make me very disappointed when I see rank 1 survivors die with this build when the level 3 Meg makes it out. It's not even a good build eitherway.
Is it better if it's also used with a med kit?
It's one of the perks I'm running until I get self care.
I'm willing to take a hit. The problem is killers usually go for the survivor that has already been on the hook, so they get downed pretty quickly and it just seems that the save was pointless. I basically killed my teammate faster.
If they're fully healed, at least they can afford to get hit once and have an opportunity to get away.
