Please explain how Nurse blink works

I playing for survivor, and i can't understand how Nurse teleporting works.
I watch some streams of top killers, and for me it like "teleporting to any random place, but terminus is survivor's face."

Adding on to the above, that is why some survivors run directly at the Nurse. She can't stop her charge and she can't hit. Only thing she can do is blink away and try to blink back.

How killer knows at which distance he will be blinked?
I watch top killers streams, and almost every time they blinks right to the survivors at first seconds of trial. Stream looks like "blink-hit-blink-hit-dispatch to the hook, blink-hit-blink-hit-dispatch to the hook."
No searching, no camping, just blinking right to survivors and hitting them. And before killer blinking, he had not seen the survivor.
For my level 35 rank 15 this looks scary...

Trial and error mostly. There is an addon that will let them see exactly where they are blinking for one match, but it is super rare, and likely will not be present in most matches.

It really isn't that hard to mentally calculate where you will land.
