The Knight will tilt the balance in killers's favour
When i first saw the new killer i thought he was cool. His animations were great and he seemed like a fun killer to play but once i read his power i realised how bad its going to be for survivors. The Knight is absolutely broken and one can easily tell that he wont make the game better. In fact, he will make the game way worse and the first weeks of his release will be a miserable time preiod for all survivor mains because everyone will want to try his overpowered ability and survivors will have to endure playing against him over and over again.

Its not rocket science to understand that The Knight will tilt the balance in killers's favour. People were memeing about playing against 4 killers as 1 survivor and now it has come true and even though most of us think memes coming true is funny, i dont think we can say the same about this situation. I personally think this is worrying, not funny.

And now to his power; I already said that he is overpowered and now i will explain what makes him overpowered. His 4v1 pressure will be extremely broken. You can think of him as a Nemesis that has better zombies. His guards are way faster compared to Nemesis's zombies and unlike Nemesis, The Knight has tremendous control over his guards, you can make them patrol everywhere which will make gens impossible to finish. Imagine running 4 gen slowdown perks on him... it will broken (90 seconds repair time on top of guards you have to avoid and on top of gen slowdown perks). In short, killers got what they wanted as always.

If you'd seen people exploit the braindead AI of his minions on Youtube, you'd actually be better informed.

You might as well set one of those reminders for like a few months from now, so you can come back to see what a joke this post was lmao
Right now Knight is rating around C tier.

I think Knight is fun to play and has some good pressure potential but he's definitely not OP in my opinion. If I were forced to make killer tiers I'd put him around the middle.

hold W key while he is using his guards.

Is this the famed doompost template which argues that in Dead By Daylight it's impossible for Killers to not get 4 kills?

He's the most innovative in such a long while - maybe they have a new designer. I'm happy for them to balance around him, just on virtue of how fun he seems!

I suggest you not to believe everything you see.

He is A tier at worst.

bro ofc the first weeks are going to be awful for survivors cause we dont know how exactly to counter the killer, though im sure over time we are gonna understand how the knight works and be able to win games against him

this happens to any other new killer, and this for ssure its going to happen with the knight as well

we've reached the point where killers don't even have to chase anymore, an AI hands it to them on a silver platter.

You're wrong and being quite ignorant. You use a lot of statements like "we all know this is broken" or "obviously", but none of what you're saying is obvious to anyone because it's very subjective and up for debate. So your arguments' stance and general tone aside, let's address the content.

He's like Nemesis but better, right? That works for me. Nemesis is underpowered. But I don't even agree with you. Let's show you why you're probably wrong.
1) The Knight can't move while setting his guards patrol. So he's doing nothing while he sets the path, which takes time away from actively hunting. That doesn't happen to nemesis.
2) Nemesis' zombies exist during the entire duration of the game. Guards are temporary
3) it's not 4v1 and I think you knew this already. He gets 1 guard to help every 20 seconds or so. That's not all game long, and it's never more than 1 guard. So we're back to 1v1 + 1 every minute or so realistically.
4) The guards are smarter than zombies. I'll grant you that. But it's about time. Zombies were horrible.

Do you watch streams with good killers playing Knight? While he looks like a TON of fun to use and play against, he does not seem overpowered. Scott Jund says he's a worse Artist. Otz is trying his best to showcase the good and fun of the killer, but overpowered isn't even close to describing him. I can't stomach watching Truetalent anymore so no clue what he's saying unless he's still just ranting about how everyone's against him.

Even if he ends up being a little strong, your argument was far too heavy handed for someone who doesn't know anything.

Yeah. I would be embarrassed if an AI was doing my work for me but killer mains seem to be fine with it for some reason.

How about you go and watch how great AI is in DBD first on youtube and then come back?

Are you really expecting the most meme'd troll on the forum to concede he's wrong? You can automatically tell if anyone refers to Knight as 4v1 that they're trolling.

I've not seen much of the new killer, but his guard AI looks janky as hell. There will be times where it's godlike and shuts a loop down entirely and times where it does nothing but make you waste your time calling it in as the survivor makes more distance. It honestly seems more useful for multitasking like rapidly setting a 'kick gen' or 'break pallet' command while giving chase.

Some of his addons do seem pretty broken at the moment, like the one that reveals auras around pallets. Overall he seems like a very complex killer that may not get sufficient reward for that complexity. Time will tell once survivors learn to play against him and killers play with him.

"overpowered" "you can make them patrol"
You see these 2 things and you can ignore anything that person says about knight.

Sending the guards to patrol is the absolute worst use of the knights power and a horrible waste of time.
