don't hold your breath for an offline mode
And besides- The bots are better than the average solo queue teammate!
I'm all for it!
I learned to have fun even in defeat and not pay attention to entitled players and their BS. Not that I get much of that either, honestly. I rarelly get any good or bad comments, tunneling, camping or any of those things everyone complains about. Probably just my time zone/rank though. I do get sweaty swf teams from time to time but it's fun to at least catch a few of them. I like sweaty games even though they are more stressful.
Maybe it's also that you never actually "lose" in this game. You can get a 4K and that's definitely a win. But if you don't you can still pip with just one kill (maybe even no kills, not sure) and even if you get steamrolled you'll probably get enough BP to consider it worthwhile. There's always something.
The bots are imperfect, but good. Definitely predictable in some ways - they rely too much on vaults and aren't as aggressive as they should be about getting gens done, especially when they have the chance to do so while you're being chased. It does happen, just not enough. They're a good approximation of moderately skilled players but with any luck their difficulty and capacity for randomness will be tweaked in the coming months. The mode is fun, and if nothing else it absolutely allows you to experiment with different killers and builds which was the whole point. I'd just like to maybe see a sort of difficulty selection at some point. Perfect Dark did it back in 2000, I'm sure we can still get it done more than twenty years later.
