No. Previously, there were "smoking shards" that allowed you to try out some killers before buying. Now they are gone. And my old proposal on the official forum was ignored by the developers. Apparently it's hard to add a "play with bots" feature.

okay, too bad then I won't buy a killer anymore! Because the ones I bought are too hard for me to play.

Bots will arive to custom game lobbys around december though, it would still require you to buy the killers first but at least you can learn the basics of their abillitys.

You can’t test killers but I recommend watching some people play them on YouTube and then deciding if you’d be willing to try it them out.

All killers are somewhat very similar, they just have a few different ways of spicing up gameplay.

No, only the killers you bought. However, if you are interested in skills, then you can try everything in your game. True, you need at least 1 friend for this, because the game will not let you launch an empty lobby.

However, I haven't mentioned the method yet. During the Beta Test, you can try new killers for free. The mechanics of the character will certainly be improved, but not significantly. Once I bought a Deathslinger like this, I was satisfied until the "bEhandless" came and castrated him (-_-) I still want to break the nose of the author of this idea.

You could watch some video guides before (otzdarva has some good beginner guides), its not the same as playing but at least you could get an idea of which killers are hard to play and which are beginner friendly
