DO NOT use Stridor, ever.
Best perks are Predator as number 1, whispers and barbecue, and then stridor if u have a good headset.
thrill of the hunt + ruin
have fun with freegrab
If you feel NOED makes you throw up, use Nurses calling.
A bit unorthodox but BBQ plus phase walk means you can often get to gens you know are being worked on and get a lot of value out of Pop. If they had already scattered, Surveillance lets you know if they come back and you'll get value out of it as due to constantly breaking gens for Pop.
EDIT: Going to second not using Stridor, it'll often make them sound closer than they really are and unless you are using the purple lunge addon, you often won't be close enough.
Really strong build is Ruin, Devour Hope, Haunted Ground, and Make Your Choice
DH and MYC work really nice together and Haunted Ground scares survivors from doing totems. If they get ruin first they also probably will ignore the rest of your totems thinking it's just haunted ground.
Add-on: Increase Move speed while haunt, No sound while haunt.

BBQ - Extra BP is too good to turn down. Plus it is useful in certain situations like when you have to slug then have to find everyone.
Sloppy Butcher - This perk is the Iron Will of killer perks. Incredibly underrated, and hits hard against bad players who are still running Self-Care after the nerf. It slows down the healing speed by 20%, so even just tagging survivors slows the game down. If someone on the team isn't comfortable working injured, then the game goes downhill for them fast.
The last one is up to you. Nurse's Calling syncs well with Sloppy Butcher, but once survivors figure out you have it, they'll work to counter it. I personally prefer using Enduring because it rewards you for not respecting pallets and you can eat a Decisive Strike hit if you gotta.
Mid-ranks though. At higher ones you'll need BBQ at the least.
