Underrated Perk - Windows Of Opportunity
I don't really see that many people using the perk..
It's literally a savior whether you play solo/swf, New/Old at the game

Yeah we know, you memorize the position of every pallet/window(then you complain about RNG later)

It's the best to make plans or to chain loops.

I see it a lot more since the last patch in my experience. I also run it on every survivor build pretty much.

You can literally get all that info from your team about pallets and loops in SWF if you really tryhard. There are also plenty of rules some tiles create to other tiles that you can memorize. It's just not generally worth wasting slot for something good awareness gets you for free which is pretty much the running theme of info perks on survivors.

How about you give up the awareness and actually play to chill. I can try hard, i have enough knowledge but it isn't worth it tho.

I play solo 99% of the timee.

Nothing is more painful than expecting a pallet to be somewhere, then boom it's dropped.

this perk feels clearly weird for me on the one side i say if you know the maps you dont need it on the other side it shows you if a pallet is used or not i think it helps newer player tramendously to learn looping and get the maps known but if you know the maps its kinda a dead perk.

No it actually isn't a dead perk. Even if you have enough knowledge you sometimes just can't tell what's behind that wall, especially on complicated maps that you'd never remember the layout of or the pallet spawns, great example: RPD.

Yet on open maps yes i agree that the perk wont really give much value. But you won't be expecting to play Autohaven every match. And it still lets you know about the window spawns of the main-building without you having to spend few seconds to check that out.

It's a decent solo queue perk but people will just choose endurance, exhaustion, and healing perks instead because they're bad at chases.

i think we both understand each other i will try it and look myself maybe calling it a dead perk was to harsh but i think you understood what i mean :)

Yes i did get what you meant, but this perk eliminates a lot of processes in your mind aka "where to go after i dropped this", "should i leave this pallet so that the area isn't a dead zone" etc..

You just find everything prepared without any brain pain, especially if you're just half asleep lol.

Not all survivors who want to run exhaustion perks are bad at the game lol just like killers who run 4 slow downs they must be bad too eh?

Amway the post isn't about you killers, it is about a good perk Windows.

Anyways sorry about that, just everytime I see a positive survivor post someone as to put in negativity into the post...

Honest I love windows but I mainly use any means, as this shows pallets too but at least in solo q when my teammates are wasting pallets for no reason I can reset them.

Killers who need 4 slowdown perks to win are bad, yes. And exhaustion perks don't mean a survivor is bad at the game. But people who are bad in chase will run them to avoid chasing and looping, that's just how it goes.

i actually find it very interisting that you choose window over an lithe or a sprint burst what would that build be i normally play prove thyself spinechill lightweight and dead hard / lithe (still prefer dead hard even it got nerfed) honestly for the tries i would change it with the support skill in my build that would be spine chill or prove thyself but i never would leave my dead hard / lithe behind because i only play solo q and an endurance skill helps with tunnler
