I'm aware of IdentityV but that and dbd gameplay mechanics differ as well the only key points in powerups I can see it giving survivors a 3 hit instead of a 2 hit as considered a health buff with generators requiring 2 people to finish instead of one because it'll take a very long time.
I'd understand as well you can't dupe killers because that would be too powerful.
Okay but it's 8 of you so its gonna take 3 hooks to kill 8 of you, do you know how many body blocks that is while you escape?
That sounds like fun tbh
They have basically the same core mechanics.
Survivors complete Ciphers (gens) to learn the code to open the gates and escape while being hunted by a hunter who's aim is to down them and carry them to specific points for elimination (Rocketchairs/Hooks) with a max of 3 seats before you're eliminated (2 if they take too long to save)
The differences are survivors can actually communicate with in-game messages, and as such Hunters can be stronger. Hunters seem to have more interesting powers to me.
Survivors also aren't just skins. Each has different abilities. The Doctor has an infinite syringe (the only Self-care in game), and gets more time of speed boost when hit, but she vaults and throws pallets slower. There's also a wider variety of items, and some are survivor exclusive.
The 3-hits is just one of the rules for 2v8.
With survivors not being skins means in 2v8 it counts who you play as because as well if too many people are injured they freak out and do gens slowly vs the killer using a perk to do that far you. Survivors are just skins in dbd who can use dupe perks and communicate on discord... thats a huge advantage. Killers will use discord as well and only have each other which will be fun because its a 2 player mode with your friend and you dont feel as stressful as in single player because you have someone to play with. Can you imagine tru3talent and Marth 88 co-op killers?
there is something someplace that you can download to do that
True threads like this are clogging the ultra-important "[Perk] is OP" and "[Side I don't ever play] is always toxic" we need more of those discussions.
