So why does wraith need a speed boost after uncloaking?

Genuine question. Wraith has some of the best addons in the game, and is completely undetectable while cloaked. This lets her set up ambushes using her cloaking, and attack survivors around corners easily. Why does she need a gigantic speedboost that gives her lunge triple distance right out of a cloak? Cloaking already has an absurd movement speed, it's counterbalanced by the fact uncloaking takes so long and slows her down, but giving the cloak a speedboost is just absurd, it undoes what the slowing down from the cloaking is supposed to do. Playing wraith is so braindead, I literally just pick three close gens and camp them all game while abusing cloak speedboost. No matter how I win, nothing feels fair.

Oh boy... I feel like im the most qualified to answer this, but definitely not the whole thing in a forum.

I will say wraiths addons are definitely not the strongest in the game when you consider he has 6 unique addons.... and thats it. 2 Cloak speed (which is worthless), 3 uncloak speed, 3 movement speed (which is now insignificant), 2 break speed, 2 ringing addons, and all seeing spirit. all the brown addons are worthless, yes, even ghost and serpent.

Compare that with Ghostface's addons, Dredge, Nurse, Myers (who has the most dynamic addons of all the killers), Pig, Spirit, Demo, and of course, Blight, who has the most busted addons for the most busted power

? He is not completely invisible while cloacked unless he is immobile.
Otherwise he is slowdown when he unlock so it would make it useless

I've never understood why Wraith needs a super lunge when uncloaking either. He rushes up to people while pretty close to invisible (or, at worst, semi-visible for about two seconds) and can potentially uncloak at rapid speed and in total silence. That isn't enough? If someone can't get a hit under those conditions then that sounds like a player problem to me.

I don't like playing Wraith, he feels way too cheap. I agree, his victories don't feel unearned. It's less about skill than just...wandering around occasionally pressing the "free hit" button.

How to beat wraith. Run to pallet. Drop pallet. Make him break said pallet. Run to next pallet. Repeat. GG wraith loses the game because it costs him 3-4 gens to catch you. You don't even really need windows or vaults because M1.

Wraith has a weak base power. If you would not have a speed boost after uncloaking then he would be useless. He is undetectable while cloaked but very loud thus still easily detectable. If he didn't have the speed boost why even bother cloaking? Add-ons shouldn't be the excuse to nerf his base power...

Wraith is close to be invisible but also very loud so you can hear him approaching. Also add-ons shouldn't be an excuse to nerf a base power. And he is a weak killer... because... you know... M1
