Hope that help you
Jolt does not stack however. Pop and overcharge require you to interact with the generator.
-Pain Resonance (Artist Teachable Perk)
-Dead Man's Switch (Deathslinger Teachable Perk)
-Call of Brine (Onryo Teachable Perk)
-Deadlock (Cenobite Teachable Perk)
Pain Resonance and Dead Man's Switch will force the Survivors off of the highest-progressed generator when you hook them on a Scourge Hook and then block the gen for 30 seconds with Dead Man's Switch. It also regressed the generator by 15%.
Be warned that smart Survivors will understand that they can let go just before you hook someone and prevent Dead Man's Switch, and you will not know exactly which generator they're on. Gamesense can help with guessing where they are at.
Call of Brine will allow you to kick generators and cause them to regress at twice their normal speed for a full minute, unless the regression is stopped in some way.
Deadlock will block the highest-progressed generator for 30 seconds when a generator is done.
Clown has a few solid addons, but my personal favorite combination is the Cigar Box with the Garish Make-Up Kit. This provides a lot of aura-reading while you're Invigorated, which has a longer duration due to Garish Make-Up Kit.
If you don't want to go down this route, the Cheap Gin Bottle with Redhead's Pinky Finger is probably his best combination. You have four bottles, but as long as you can land a direct hit with your bottle, you can afflict a Survivor with Exposed and instantly down them with your basic attack. It's essentially a far stronger basekit. It also attracts lots and lots of salt.
If you want to slow down healing, you can run the Sulphuric Acid Vial, which gives Mangled to Intoxicated Survivors.
There's a lot of options, but just know that Clown is not generally the strongest Killer out there. He's on the lower end of Killers, but don't let that stop you.
yes. An explosion always triggers the instant progress loss. Same with Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance.
Relying on a lot of gen regression can carry you against weaker survivors, but against good ones you will hit a wall and might get frustrated. That being said, clown is a pretty weak killer to begin with. Personally I tend to aim for no more than 1 or 2 gen regression perks in most builds.
If you prefer to kick gen i would suggest you to get call of brine and eruption those 2 perk are probably the best perk to pair with overcharge i would remove pop immediatly. Dragon grip is not a bad perk if you kick gen and if you get call of brine you will know when survivor are on the gen and this will give you some lethality specially with clown it wont go to waste.
