EAC error

Restarted game, steam, pc, EAC, verified files. Impossible to play.

Try going into the files, and into the EasyAntiCheat folder. Run the set up exe, and hit repair for Dead By Daylight. See if that works.

Check if Easy Anti cheat is allowed through your Firewall in windows or if you are using some other antivirus or firewall make sure to allow EAC thro those aswell ... after that:
Open your Steam Library.
Right click on Dead By Daylight list title and then Go to Settings < Manage < Browse Local Files.
Open the EasyAntiCheat folder.
Run as administrator EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable file.
Make sure in the drop-down within EasyAntiCheat Service Setup dbd is the selected game.
Press Repair Service.
After this process verify Steam Integrity Check files: Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files.
before launching close any application that you are not going to use.
Re-launch the game.

in match !? wait you are not using any app to take advantage are you !? i mean no offence but just make sure you are not also what is the error anyways what does the error say ?!

Not that I am aware of. This has happened once or twice before but always went away on its own quickly. This is the first time it's stuck around for a day and 5-6 times at that. Don't know if this is related but the only thing new to my PC in the last few days is wallpaper engine. Ofc I tried shutting it down first thinking it had something to do with gpu but no good.

if you have Cheat Engine for your Offline games make sure it is not open in system tray (hidden icons for windows taskbar) might be making issue if you have that even tho i cant really say anything helpful unless you let me know what the error is

hmmm you might be using custom perk icons or anything thing else so called mod !! which is not trouble in some cases but still risky and better not done sometimes makes trouble sometimes nothing ... still i will wait for the screen shot :)

sfc/scannow didn't help. Waiting on support now. By the time this gets fixed I am going to have several weeks long ban trying to check if the problem's gone or not. Thanks bhvr.
