And if you think otherwise, you're clearly blind.
Just imagine a facecamp Bubba. They will have 10 seconds more per generator. ¡It's party time!
good survivors that are also good killers understand there's two sides to the dbd coin. then there survivor only and killer only players but keep in mind there's still two sides to the coin. killer want the game in their favor and survivors in their favor... rest of us just want balance and skill based gameplay from both sided.
If you haven't noticed there has been lack of killers specially at evenings, which has been increasing issue. So if certain amount of survivor mains quit playing it will only help the game actually with queque times.
Everyone is a "bad killer" at some point, but the game isn't insanely skill based like a proper esport, it just takes practice. I think a lot of people just give up immediately when they lose their first few games, can't run tiles, and can't catch anyone in chase. If you stick to it, follow some guides and tutorials, I think killer can be much more fun that survivor.
Do you think that when the midpatch comes, the game will stay the same? Dude, stay off drugs.
I didn't say those nerfs weren't a big deal. They are. But not as awful as survivor changes.
And no. If survivors quit playing, it won't be good to the queue time. It doesn't work by numbers of players, it works by MMR. There will be even more waiting time.
I'm almost sure Survivors are gonna genrush like crazy after this patch, which could be a bad thing.
Let's wait until the PTB hits and we'll see
I'm not going to pretend that the patch is perfect - and these changes are seriously coming 5 years too late, but this is finally a step in the right direction and has changes people have been asking for literally those 5 years on both sides of the spectrum.
Killer requires so much more work than survivors and was extremely unfun to play. It's no surprise that they've been leaving, causing queues to be completely unbalanced. And the reason people were leaving is due to core issues within the gameplay.
Whether you like it or not, the current way the game is at the moment was hemorrhaging players every month at an alarm rate. Even during licensed chapters would at best, break even, only to have a large drop next month. The game lost over half of its players in a year, and now there are two games (VHS, and Evil Dead) that are trying to compete against its throne. Changes have to happen.
