Killer is the weaker of the two sides atm.
And it's not cuz killers are actually weak, it's the horrible map design and also the fact survivors have nothing to do other than gens so games are finished within 3 minutes.
To put that more simply, gen rush, infinites, most killers cant counter this even if they're experts because of just how horribly designed this game is.
Combine all of that, and you have a not fun frustrating experience ahead of you. :) Only way to avoid this is hope for a really low rank player that's only played the game for about 60 odd hours to be in your match.
that people acuse the game fore
1.the killers are under powered
2.the killers cant use they abilities (especially trapper) because of the gen rush meta
3.the game favours survivors
and 4 is that there may not be alot of players depending on your region
I played a couple of games today. 4 of 6 times i had Asylum and at least 2 people who's immediately started abusing infinites after getting hit/chased. I see they do more than two circles and i leave. Repeat that 3 more times until i get different map, it was Blood Lodge. Chased a guy through pallettown, got him when last gen popped. Enough DbD for today.
The balance used to be back an forth, SWF wasn't in the game and it chugged along. Then they introduced SWF and suddenly the killer found themselves up against premade teams with voice comms telling each other where the killer was and what he was doing, balance was destroyed and all the killers got told was 'you will adapt'.
So we struggled on, some adopted lobby dodging, some played the hand that was dealt to them. Then the nerfs started coming to key perks, that for killers was neccessary to combat the survivor meta (sprintburst, selfcare, sabotage). The killers complaints gradually got drowned out by the survivors flaming and proclaimations that the game was balanced.
Then when we thought the sky couldn't get any darker the dev's brought in another balance patch based on the advice on reddit. Now if you've stuck your head into DBD reddit you'll notice that it's a survivor echo chamber. God help the killer that posts in there, I'll probably be flamed to Hades for this post too.
Through the whole history of what I've just typed we kept telling everyone that the killer will become more rare and we kept being told "Actually we think you'll be fine. Killers will still be playing." So fast forward to today, people still think the MM waiting times are due to the MM system when infact there are simply not enough killers that want to torture themselves.
The opening statement of this game by the devs was "The survivor should should never feel safe." Now you have a game where the survivor taunts the killer openly, exploits the mechanics, and uses their invincibility to their advantage. But in all this I don't blame the players, the devs enabled it. Now I barely play twice a week, because the game I loved has essentially gone.
Git rekted son, Git shrekted, git flamed:
Cuz you just got DUNKED ON!!!!
