white ward + brand new part

Hi, I would like to know if white ward (you don't lose your item if you die) works with brand new part (you can repair a gen in a instant but you lose your item), I don't think so but just in case

If you use the toolbox you just won't keep it. The ward protects it if you die before you use it only

It's says that you don't lose your item if you die. If you use brand new part, you waist all your toolbox. White ward only work if you still have this item "in your hand" while dying.

if u use it in game its gone. but if u die with it u will keep it, im pretty sure could be wrong tho

white ward protects you from losing your item upon death, other words - if you die with your item that you brought (didnt use it till its gone) you will still have it
