Now a bit more productive: I highly recommend to try out Jeff's perk aftercare for a few games. IMO one of the most underrated perks for solo-Q. Played correctly, you will be able to see and interpret everything happening in the game. Combo-wombo with Alert it will give you loads of necessary info what to do (even more then via comms: not everybody is "comp" in a vc). Then it doesn't matter so much if the teammates play "questionable" and you can adapt to the situation and take responsibility by yourself.
The game is currently balanced around getting half of the survivors out against SWF premades without VOIP or Solo Q. players.
So, even if the community would've wanted this feature to get into Dead by Daylight, it's not gonna happen - You know, the majority of the playerbase is consisted of SWF premades, not outta Solo Q. players, and they'd rather have the game less challenging to allow them to just chill and do silly things in-game.
Then you could emote Shhhh + Point to show where the Killer is or something.
Even so, unfortunately I can't see the developers (who still identify as an indie company) will carry this through. They seem to love putting off basic quality of life changes for as long as possible
Giving solo queue players more information will not balance the game. Do you know why? Because the killer will be left behind.
DBD copied Werewolf.
Pretty much every single SWF premade relies on VOIP in this game.
Given how balanced the game is, the developers must've changed their mind, as using VOIP is allowed.
If this game would've truly be built on lack of informations, using programs like Dcord, Skype, etc would've resulted in temporary or permanent bans years ago.
