I mean you say that but every top killer main knows that camping and tunnelling in some scenarios is one of the most effective strategies to secure a win
Im not saying that hard camping and tunnelling every survivor is the right way to play, or that a survivor should enjoy it when its happening to them, but they need to understand that its kind of an aspect of the game... and sometimes its necessary for a killer even get one kill.
The number of times ive seen OTZ or Red say "i have to tunnel this survivor or we hard loose the game, and people need to understand why it happens... its the most effective thing a killer can do, reducing a survivor teams speed by 25%.
And before anyone says it, im a survivor main. I just understand that tunnelling and being camped is a necessity for killers sometimes.. if a killers just been run for 2-3 gens with little to no hooks, its the only way he / she can even attempt to salvage a game and get a 2k just for the draw sometimes. Yes it feels bad and un-fun for me when it happens, but you also have to understand fundamentally why its happening.
I understand wanting to have fun in different ways but with how DBD currently is having a "fair" match is important if you're playing to win. It's fun when the hacker is trying to be fun, but the amount of griefing people seem to experience via them outweighs any positive interactions.
The sandbox/game as a whole has a LOT of untapped potential IMO but the devs are gonna do whatever they're gonna do. Modding for this game when it loses support will be interesting to see tho, but that'll be a while from now more than likely.
Sometimes it's very vague when they are though. I've had to put a few reports stating that I'm not 100% but from my view it sure looked like it. In a game like this it can be very hard to tell if they're using wall hacks for example. Once watched on hook as killer stared and followed left and right at a survivor behind walls that was pacing back and forth. No perks or anything to give him a tell and whole game he went straight toward everyone like he just knew. Was he using them 100%? Idk. Sure as hell looked like it, but it's "possible" he wasn't.
That sounds badass. If he didn't hook anyone and just bombarded them until they escaped, he'd be really cool. But I'm guessing he was a 4k cheater.
And where do that "game is toxic AF" come from?
Honestly I have no clue, we shouldn't be playing the same game
Edit: Nvm I thought I was on the hunt shodown forum, my bad
