k.
Nobody will tho.
Sure, if you're going to insinuate that killers frequently need to leave people on the ground for 45 seconds.
Like honestly. Intelligent slugging got better because now it takes a baseline 45sec to UB.
Sure, you can lower this with perks (Like new UB) but the reality is it will be a garbo perk because people wont slug. So you're using a perk that does nothing in 9/10 games. Exactly like the current UB does.
Unbreakable, if it picks people up in 22 seconds on a regular basis and works indefinitely, will get very quickly nerfed before it makes it to live, or less than a year after it makes it to live, because that will quickly accelerate to the #1 used perk, and BHVR actively nerfs the most used perks, like BBQ and Dead Hard.
I feel like you might be missing that I'm being sarcastic.
Now killers are told that they can't slug permanently anymore, and many of them are in absolute hysterics. It's honestly pretty sad.
Losing Dead Hard didn't kill the game (though yes, it did apparently cull thousands of players who apparently couldn't bring themselves to try playing the game without it). The Dead Hard nerf was healthy. Losing permanent slugging won't kill the game (though yes, it seems like many killer players will quit playing the game now). The slugging nerf is healthy.
People need to quit throwing tantrums and acting personally persecuted when something they like gets adjusted. They're trying to balance this game, and the cheapest, most frustrating, most complained about things are going to wind up on the chopping block sooner or later. It happens to both sides and the sooner people realize that, the lower their blood pressure will be.
It's actually really amusing since people will mentally categorize themselves as a killer or a survivor when in reality most people play both sides. The people complaining one way or the other are typically upset they can't find some manner of success in their chosen role at that given point in time, and rather than improving, end up hysterical primarily because of this very lack of success and not necessarily because of any actual changes in the game.
That being said, I'm not a fan of this planned patch very much and hardly find much value in it as a whole.
I think it will result in more camping, something that is complained about much more for much longer and was only semi-answered with a DLC perk with a very short range. I guess we'll find out how it goes.
They could've literally went with Kindred basekit, something SWFs have for free already, but instead they decided to make SoloQ slightly more annoying by having anti-slug baseline and making facing SWFs absolute hell.
Bad killers will suck even more and Nurse and Blight won't care at all.
In fact, killers will now tunnel and camp even harder, so good job if this goes live.
