Seriously, Empathy is almost a must have perk
Especially for people playing in solo queue, I can not tell you how vital it is that people know where their injured teammates are, especially when working on gens late game.

Personally for info i think Bond is better. Yes it has a shorter radius but you gonna run across the half map to heal up that david who has been able to escape the killer after the first hit? thats why i dont use empathy over bond if i wanna know where my mates are and what they do in soloQ

I been using Empathic Connection with Autodidact. People will go to you when they are injured and you give them a super quick heal. Been fun!

I swear by Bond. It's never left my kit on any survivor since I started playing the game like 20 months ago. It doesn't just show me where nearby survivors are, it allows me to gauge, by the various animations of their auras, what they're doing and whether the killer is on any of them. SO much useful information from just one perk. Bond is absolute S tier to me.

For a good laugh one game, use Bond, Windows of Opp, Visionary, and Open Handed. You're basically Neo from the Matrix.

LOL. God that must look horrible XD but im totally going to try it out. i think i dont got open handed but i can exchange it with the chest reveal perk for even more glowing auras.

Bond is way superior, it gives you a 36m range aura regardless of their health state.

Empathy is decent if you have other perk(s) that's reliant on healing survivors/FL Saves, etc.

But to run it on its own, why would you care if a survivor is injured across the map over a 36m radius, its a waste of time to go there; As there is usually someone closer.

Same, its almost a must since i usually play soloQ. The info is very important to know if i need to go for saves, pallet saves, what my teammates doing or perhaps find others to use my prove thyself...it has so many advantages as soloQ.

Empathy range is more than double of what the range of bond is, providing good info on where the killer is currently chasing a teammate, and if someone needs healing you can go over to them and patch them up.

I personally use it .. and it helps me a lot .. because I use it with windows .. I can see which teammate is chased and what pallets are used .. it is very vital info .. for me.

Any means Necassary is imo better than empathy,it gives you info where the chase is happening, and every now and then you get to pick up a pallet

Definitely. I should have specified that I almost always play solo queue, I could hardly imagine what things would be like without it.

Personally I like Bond + Kindred (With open handed for the lulz if I want). Bond give me some info, like "Is that David really bringing the killer to me when i'm 95% done with the last gen" or "Yes Feng, sabo'ing that hook at the start of the match is a great idea", along with kindred where I can see "oh, I'll get the save, you're too busy opening the chest in the basement" or "Oh, Bubba is camping...again".

Imo it's a waste of a perk slot, same as bond. I use one info perk max and it's usually kindred for solo queue.

I get that, but kindred works well only if you're hooked, generally people try to avoid getting hooked to begin with.
