Anti Blight Build
Now that the rift is over, I want to figure out the best build to counter him.

I'm a killer main, but I do know the general survivor meta, and I'm not looking for that. I'm specifically looking to counter the Blight and his rush.

This is generally about perks, but items/addons and offerings are also appreciated.

I know he's a top killer, but not unbeatable.

Resilience will allow you to vault faster when you're injured.
Most Blight's I play against has aura reading so distortion can be a good counter.
Window of Opportunities can help you to optimize your route in chase
And an exhaustion perk will help as well.
This might not be the best build against him but will still be helpful even if it isn't a blight you are playing against.
In terms of items I recommend a medkit since you need to stay healthy against a blight. It also works well with resilience.
In terms of maps I don't recommend you an open fielded map against blight but rather an indoor map like RPD (not midwich since midwich is one of Blight's strongest maps).
If the blight is good, play agressive. You need to force him to make quick decisions that way he will most likely overcommit

DH-Can prevent an otherwise unavoidable Rush hit, Other Exhaustion are weaker against blight. SB/Lithe/Overcome/smash hit especially, he can just zoom right after you with a rush and negate all the distance those perks give. Headons obviously a meme.

OTR-Blights mobility means he'll most likely be coming right back to the unhook If he fails to get a valuable chase.

Besides the obvious meta choices like exhaustion perks or Windows of Opportunity;

Perks that keep you from being detected, because good blights will typically have at least one aura-reading perk if not more. So, Off the Record, Sole Survivor, Boon: Shadow Step.

Perks to read HIS aura so he can't sneak up on you and rush you before you can react. Object of Obsession, Dark Sense, Distortion, Spine Chill, Wire Tap, Inner Focus. perhaps even Guardian or Buckle Up, though I don't see a lot of survivors run those.

Blight is a fast killer with a power which work well depending the environnement.
They tend to use either a lot of slowdown or aura reading perk.
=> window of opportunity can be good if you struggle with loop.
=> dead hard can help against a dash if well used or head on can be vicious if you hide in a locker to avoid the blight rush

On my side I use my all killer build : boon coh, boon exponential, small game and botany.

Any way to help with the "body block first bounce"?

the only perk that really counters him is DH since it's really easy to use against him

His main benefit is speed slaps so staying in vault heavy areas pretty heavily counters him. I find the most benefit when I play blight comes from knowledge perks/addons as well so things like distortion will limit his abilities. Be careful trying to run a short line of sight vault though as he can double rush for a lethal hit if timed right.

Just really run anything that can get you distance or hide you from him and you have much better chances. Even a good blight gets a little disoriented from constantly slamming into walls. You even have the option of using skins that hide you better in the dark colors of the map which is helpful for slipping under his view and around corners.
