Hell use Franklins if you just hate items in general, just be careful it gets a lot of salt.
Please tell me you played when blinds were insta, and white screen too... that could have perma damaged peoples' eyes it was that awful.

Anyways, once you know they're doing saves, either fake pickups, look at walls, spin around then pickup to throw em off or simply look up.
You do realize you have to look up or down right or fake the pick up? Do you want truly all skill removed from this game on the killer's part? Also you can spam R to drop a survivor and flashlight won't work - you can always run the perk as well. GIT GUD scrub.
I will note they're removing dropping a survivor right after a pickup to dodge a stun escape next patch iirc, as I recall that being mentioned on the PTB
