Fog removal & brighter killer stain exploit fix when?

This is becoming increasingly common. And it's really annoying.
Pls fix.

inb4 'promoting', if something doesn't get attention then devs wont fix it, so here's the attention.

I think i know what you mean but can you explain?.
does it have anything to do with the ini files?.
Because changing those is intended.

Yes, it's the ini files.

And no, removing the fog entirely in the game is not intended.
Nor is making the killer stain 3x brighter and bigger so you can see it across the map.

It's annoying and it's been a problem for months that more and more people are taking advantage of.

Never heard of it honestly. How do you know that someone is changing game files to get said effect?

Or got told.
But it is true what they say though.
Its as easy as downloading a certain zip file then extract and replace the ini files in app data.
Makes the game much more smother and easier too. And its hardly advantageus. its a little bit but its not wallhacks or similar.

Making stain brighter or removing fog. Call it not cheating ill just laugh if you are that much of a scrub you need to resort to that then there is no helping you

I've emailed them with plenty of stuff plenty of times and I've never received a response, so I've stopped bothering.

if it was legal you could do it without downloading an ini file from the web and deleting and replacing the current one... so no.. just because it is the user ini file doesn't mean it isn't cheating.

The moment I get a developer/moderator response here saying it's allowed, I'll take your word for it.

Until then it's blatant cheating. If it's allowed, why have fog in the game at all? Why not make the stain 3x brighter in the first place?

I don't report them, even if I'm sure. Reports aren't looked at from my experience so there's no point.

but you dont get a game ban. So its tecnically not cheating.
Also most peps use that not to not get fog but to get the least taxing textures and ♥♥♥♥ to get better fps. i know i do it at least.
