However, if being used by just one survivor (if the survivor heals himself or herself within the area, and then it gets disabled) - Then, it's completely balanced.
By my opinion, the Boon shall have just one charge - And whenever the survivors do get healed for a total of one health state in that area, the Boon effect disappears.
That way, it would be a way to get somebody or something to heal you, even when other survivors aren't around or available to heal you - However, in such cases, the blessed totems shall be kept blessed, if the creator has been killed, sacrificed, or has disconnected from the match already.
I think personnaly It should be buff :
=> add a BP altruism gain of 500 BP if someone use healing totem
=> add a emblem bonus if someone heal itself with your totem.
I think that SWF can make it OP, but not anymore so than everyone having DH or DS does. In solo queue it's a little annoying, but in a SWF it's very overwhelming and sometimes unfair.
I also really don't find it that strong on its own. As survivor you can really notice when it's just Circle of Healing because people get taken down with BBQ easily, and caught more often when they're trying to get away to heal. Shadow Step allows them to more easily lose the killer and avoid being picked up by BBQ or other aura reading.
Sure enough, as killer I've been getting a lot of downs because of people showing up on my BBQ or thinking they lost me, then being surprised I followed their scratch marks and got downed.
People also get into the mindset of blessing totems > completing gens, and the match beings to slip from their fingers without them noticing it until it's way too late. Lately people are forgetting that gens, not totems, win the game.
It's just not the perk that everyone is saying it was for me, and I was one of those people. I thought boons were going to be disgusting, but I really don't find them impacting my matches as killer and if they're involved in a match that does, it's usually the SWF aspect that heavily influences how that perk plays out.
The only thing I don't like is that a blessing can permanently cleanse a hex. I think that was a mistake and the killer should have been able to relight their totem much faster, but I guess they're going a different route with that mechanic anyways in the upcoming chapter.
Most of the games the boons are destroyed rly quick. It takes like 2 sec to destroy and 10 to bless. Survivor are sometimes more busy with a boon than with gens. I don't think they are OP. (new boon not included. Pretty sure it will be nerfed soon)
