Because his rush is not considered an M1 attack; its a special attack.

default binding for blight's special attack is m1, but that's just a nitpick. Just an exception of being an m1 but not being considered a basic attack like Legion's special attack.

Too bad Nurse's blink m1 still counts as an m1 and has since release.

The game has always been really janky with how perks and abilities interact. Under the hood blight's rush-attack has a different super-wide hitbox that can't hit terrain, however if you don't read the wiki for fun you probably don't know that.

This bothers me a lot considering her post-blink attacks have a faster lunge speed than other attacks. Nurse should be coded the same as Blight but I guess consistency would be too much to ask for.

As far as Nurse's design is concerned, her power is merely a mode of transportation that she has to rely on with her slow movement speed, hence why her Blink Attack is a regular Basic Attack.

Blight is different, he doesn't have to rely on his power to get around the map, he's a regular 115-Killer without it. Same thing with Oni, hence why their power attacks are Special Attacks..

You can still use it to hide NOED. Down one using rush. Bait someone to come help them and then NOED their head.

Well you may have right but to be honest a nurse does not need noed...So it's not a real problem.
