So your logic is, as long as there's just a few of them who cares
I am actually a Twins player and I am genuinely upset from the nerfs that were in the PTB a lot of them were just uncalled for.
The Clown nerfs were ridiculous when he is a very weak Killer, The Twins I feel the same way about for some reason they absolutely GUTTED Nemesis' add-on Marvins Blood.
I for one just don't understand why or how they came to the conclusions that they did from the Patch Notes a lot of it is just so... weird or ridiculous, like the Buckle Up perk buff too, who the hell even wanted that?
That perk is used by Adept Ash and that is it
I thought you were trying to be funny. A lot of survivors like to use their passive aggressive/snarky/sarcastic rhetoric.
And its ok, but i feel thats excessive sometimes... Clown is a weak killer, if theres only two bottles, you will need recharge the entire match, its time consuming, his power become close to be bad for the killer.
Besides you reload bottles on spot, not even a big deal.
In about 6 months after they confirm that the solo-queue buff worked.
And it'll be only to Smelly Inner Soles addon so you can reload 66% ---> 75% faster while reloading bottles.
Uhm.. If you play iri Huntress you also only get one single hatchet. Clown has at least 2 bottles. I feel like if you are given the ability to one shot any survivor at any time by using a specific addon, then it should also have some downsides to it. It requires practice but is also highly rewarding if you land those hits.
Survivor perks work the same. You only get one DS & have to either be useless for a whole minute or you touch anything & lose it.
If you run Unbroken you only get one chance to actually get up from the dying state without anyone else healing you up.
If you use DH you get one chance to dodge a hit before you get exhausted, chances are you're gonna down anyway in that chase if the killer knows what they're doing.
If a suvivor brings a medkit with Styptic Agent or Anti-Haemorrhagic Syringe, then that too is only one use.
The way I see it is that high rewarding perks & addons are good where they are this way. Nobody, neither killers nor survivors can abuse them & get away with zero effort put in.
I'm down for this nerf but it should come with some buffs in other parts for the clown
But survivors AREN'T the same. There's four of them. That's 16 perks vs 4. So thats not ONE DS, it's typically 2 or 3 per match, plus 3-4 exhaustion perks on a 40 second timer, plus 2-3 Iron Wills, etc. You're not comparing things that are comparable because you're leaving out 3 quarters of what you're trying to compare lol. You're just mentioning random perks and being willfully obtuse. Lots of survivor mains seem to do this, as if they're the only ones playing on their team. You're not. And you're teammates TWELVE other perks kind of factor into the match as well.
And for the record, virtually NOTHING about Clown game play is "highly rewarding" lol. Their last "buff" to him was a LITERAL bottle of piss that only makes you faster if you stop moving. To be crystal clear, however, I'm fine with 2 bottles for the Pinky Finger. It's fine with two bottles. One to slow, one to break. Easy two piece combo. If that's not enough for you to get the down, they're either really good at dodging (which happens, believe it or not) or you're not as good at aiming as you think you are.
Alternate method: Treat it like a Billy chainsaw. Don't LOB the bottles. Point blank break that ♥♥♥♥ over their heads like a goon in a barfight : D
