- Rep + Rep On Steam Profiles - Is This a Thing?

Before or after a match, I'll open a survivors Steam profile (if the option is there) and just have a nosy at their profile ♥♥♥/wallpaper or perhaps look at what recent games they've played > you know being nosy.

I've noticed a good few times now that in the comment section of peoples Steam profile, other Steam users have left comments such as "- Rep tunneller" or "+ Rep very good doctor" etc.

My question is, is this a well know thing that people from the Dead By Daylight community do or is it a thing that communities in general do on Steam? (I've never noticed it before with other games).

Either way, if so why? I'm guessing it's venting.

-rep and +rep are actually used around steam to show that the trading with that particular person goes well (esp. a trader) so ppl would know they are a trustworthy seller/buyer.
