Camping is suboptimal because you literally remove yourself from the rest of the map by sticking to the hooked survivor. Good survivors will capitalize on that and do as many gens as they can before coming over and rescuing the person on the hook, which you CAN'T STOP because DS and BT exist. Your only option is to leave the hook, go stop them from working gens, and come back after they've rescued and hit the rescuer to replace them on the hook.
Tunneling is suboptimal because if the person you're tunneling is good enough to loop you for the entire game, you lose. If they aren't and you do happen to get them You're risking DS and the rest of the game understanding the situation and letting them die for gens.
The way you play by maximizing the length of games will be improved by you getting more and more chase knowledge and how to deal with certain loops as each of the different killers.
That or dying on first hook in solo survivor, or wasting time meeting people that can't handle their own feelings to have a chance to start a SWF.
I'm just honestly sick of survivor mains asking for the moon while killers still beg for basic crap and cannot must sympathy any longer.
BM, spam vaulted, clicked at and teabagged at the exit.
So often I end up regretting being nice and fair as I get nothing but disrespect for it. So if you want to know why 'nice' killers finally crack and stop being nice, look at the pathetic conduct of many survivors.
Oh I am a survivor main too btw but I know how miserable and frustrating killer often is.
i enjoy this and others do to, the amount of nice commets i gotten after game, makes me happy.
Do you grow your own and can I have some? PLEASE?!?!?!
My approach to killer is to come at the survivors full force and not go easy on them till I get a feel for the match. If they are obviously being completely overwhelmed and just rolling over dead, not giving me good chases I get them to death hook and then just continually slug them when I find them.
Stronger players, or players who are playing obnoxiously with the tbags and the clicking don't get any wiggle room(against stronger players you cant afford it) they want hard mode and they get it.
But with the MMR as JANKY as it is and my Degenerate hours I play I get a lot of babies who are sub 100 hours in this game. The Last thing I want to do is bully them out of the match and leave them with only 5k points after they probably waited in a Q for 5-10mins. I do kill them though, Don't want to inflate their MMR and decrease mine by letting them go. This whole only kills/escapes system being the only thing that matters is silly but that's a different topic.
Playing for eight hooks before killing anyone while following the survivors' handbook is fun on a lot of killers and I'll always have a handful that I'll only play that way. I'm a Deathslinger main and have the most fun running a setup that lives or dies by keeping two to three people on a hook, slugged, and/or in a chase at all times. When I tried playing him consistently for eight hooks before killing anyone, I ended up feeling like my MMR dropped to a point I was in a shooting gallery and players that forced me to improve my game were rare. I'm really glad MMR is per killer and not per account. It's not perfect, especially at times when survivor queue times are 5-10 minutes long, but it's definitely better than nothing.
