i bought it also on steam , i thought the servers where not shared even with crossplay on but same thing here on steam.
Well the only other thing could be the time of day you are playing, from like 3:30am on into the day light normal person hours killer queues can be slow at all levels but peak hours are pretty much always long waits for survivor.
Other than that, I don't know as your experience isn't the usual.
Listening for the ambient noise to stop for a moment lets me know when a game is found so I'm free to watch YouTube or Twitch or something while waiting. If you don't already do that I highly recommend it because like Smelyis said especially for survivor at this time the waits are typically quite long.
I know one of them said they sat there for almost 37mins and she finally got a game. All her killer games have taken around that time, so until you guys get a few kills itll prob be like that for a while cos there more players floating around just a bit higher than youre currently sitting MMR wise
I played games with 100 players total and finding a match was much faster there.
