why my game is so dark?

Since the last update my game has gone terribly dark after launch, rather, it is not related to the graphics card settings I made the game files consistent and even downloaded it all over again and the game still looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/aDWUakK

I would be very grateful for any help in solving this problem.

some maps are dark as hell others are literally set at the brightest time of day

i know its a dark game, but for some reason its super super super dark idk why

It is really dark on some maps since the update. Dead Dawg is really dark for me and I don't like it, my solution was boosting the gamma on one of my monitors presets. Does not solve the problem just makes it a bit easier to deal with.

I saw a few people talking about it yesterday and day before. It's not just you. However it's not happening to everyone. Fine for me.
