This guy just made a topic complaining about Pentimento + Plaything combo.
To which both have many counter-plays.
Killers are not allowed to have semi-decent/strong things, get over it and Enjoy It While It Lasts, Killer Mains!
Thanks for the heads-up, I forgot, how does Hex: Pentimento work!
lmao I am a killer main though. At least, I consider myself to be. I mostly only play survivor to do challenges. I suppose you also think that the notorious "Insidious Basement Bubba" build is just another semi-decent thing for poor, underrepresented killers that nobody should complain about?
Oh no I'm wrong about it being useless, it is actually not aaaass useless. Woooww.
Anyway, you've been told a bunch of times how Pentimento still has a use, whether it's because of specific builds or just because sometimes yes survivors will still cleanse totems whether boons exist or not lmao. You still gonna ride this train?
Being next to useless instead of not being useless isn't significantly better, so going to ride this train until penti works with boons.
Anyway, I've said my piece. Pentimento can be synergized to great effect, not everyone runs boons, every hex is a gamble so why should Pentimento be any different. Ignore my perfectly valid points all you will, if you'd rather sit in your grump corner and grouch all day because one perk isn't as strong as you want it to be, because god forbid a killer perk have valid counterplay, then I guess that's your decision. Might not hurt to be a little more positive, though. Lmao.
It's bothered me for a long time that a killer perk could be countered so easily because a survivor brought in a perk to counter it. Like, you go to all the work of hooking a survivor, then run over to kick a generator that's almost done, only for the survivor to block it? Pop ends up running out of time. How lame is that?
Maybe Pop should allow you to kick generators that are blocked. You know, for fairness.
So the only difference is that Repressed Alliance isn't as popular, which means that when the boon hype starts to die down and boons become less popular, Pentimento will see more use… Which is exactly what I said earlier.
Glad you've come around!
