I submitted a support ticket to BHVR in November, since no one seems to have a solution (and I see many people reiterating this). They emailed me back saying they received my ticket, then never responded. So now I am emailing them a reply once a week every week...
Look I leave you the link of the post, see the latest publications.

Yes I've seen it posted multiple times by others since I've started dealing with it too. (I'm allMadhere in that thread you linked).
I've tried it all, I've even reinstalled the game on a brand new machine recently. Logged in and out of BHVR account, verified game files. Nothing fixes it. I own no consoles and I don't play the mobile game.
I understand the devs are busy like the mod on their forum stated, but I'm sorry, if you're taking well over 30 days (I'm currently sitting at 57 days with zero response) - then I'm going to start emailing more frequently. That's absurd, hire more people then - you're a 100+ million dollar company BHVR. Ridiculous.
I wouldn't really care as much as I do, if not for the fact that I'm TERRIFIED this is going to lead to me losing my game progress, or having my account wiped somehow. Which has happened to people. Because BHVR cares so much about their fanbase that after 5 years they STILL won't create and store backups of their players' accounts on site.
Edit: I was trying to recall when it first happened, it probably just feels like it's been a year but hasn't been. It was probably near the time Hellraiser released that I started having this issue, but I'm not 100% sure.
I'll wait for the next patch (January 25) to see if it's "magically" resolved, if not I'll try to reinstall them on a new disk as they say out there.
Have you tried changing your Steam password? They say that the Steam session is closed and how it is "cleaned".
In my case, I think this problem arose at the end of November. But I heard that it started with Hellraiser for some.
It's such a strange error/glitch too - it only happens randomly. It's not every single time, and I have yet to figure out what might "cause" it, it just seems so random. The previous Christmas and Halloween events were the worst I've ever seen it, I could barely play it - but now I've been playing this Lunar New Year event most of today, and haven't had it happen once yet (fingers crossed).
I hope they fix it soon, I hope the official forum mod was right and they are actually working on it...
