what is going on
They have in the past when ranks were a thing and it didn't look much different. In any game a character with a high skill floor and a high skill ceiling is always going to have a low win rate even in a higher MMR bracket because they're significantly more difficult to play for the power level potential they possess.
Personally, I don't think MMR makes that much of a difference though. It's essentially the same system. If you play the game consistently, you'll reach high MMR, just like how survivors would reach red ranks not knowing how to loop or work injured.
In an MMR system that's simply escape/sacrifice, that's going to be exacerbated even more because the person that does the most in the match frequently doesn't get to escape and yet the ones that don't, do.
Even if it did work though, they already admitted that they had to expand matchmaking overall because queue times for survivor were absurd.
DbD's a mess right now.
What I do wish they'd show in these stats is the difference between SWF and solo queue survivors. Apparently they have the data, since they just recently admitted that being in a group significantly raises your escape rate (only took them 5 years to recognize the obvious).
so can you define what a "survivor matched against him" means ?
or to keep it simple :
what if a survivor escapes ?
what if a survivor is killed by entity, not killer ?
what if a survivor DC ?
But its not surprise that the lowest is a killer played for few killers and the higher its the most powerfull killer (and not because can slow, but because have good passive map help hability).
