High CPU usage when DBD is running
This idiotic God forsaken game triggers a conflict with something causing excessive CPU usage labeled as "System". I have tried other games and they don't have this problem so it's a DBD problem. https://ibb.co/pz1yKWM

That's because this fantastic game has unique issues for every device in the world.

DBD is not optimized in CPU because most code is not written in c++.

it's not a matter of optimization. The problem is that it conflicts with something else causing the CPU to work harder than it should.

op isnt the only one, i have the same "issue", ive also made a steam discussion about it and the conclusion is that we think the anticheat is digging deep now, since dbd had its fair share of problems with cheaters in the past, the devs have probably made the anticheat better or rather more "aggressive"

I didn't feel anything with my main PC at home because it's CPU is powerful enough to handle the extra work, but next week I will check if that's the case. Thanks for giving me a lead on this issue.

no problem, you can probably still see the spikes in the cpu utilization but not really notice it ingame in terms of fps

Possible but at a very low chance. EAC is running on lots of game and it's a standard solution and not something customized. An ac has very low resources usually

I have the same issue. Has been around 90%+ CPU use when playing DBD and its giving me many FPS drops in low with a 1060. Tell me if u find any solution.

okay mhh, it was just theory that sounded plausible, but that might have debunked it, on the other hand u said "usually" which isnt always :D

Try disabling the steam overlay - sometimes people check other people's profiles but forget to close em but in general i've got better performance once I disabled it.

Well I just sold my GPU so I can't try it until summer lmao.

Same issue but with system, exe when DBD is running. Can't solve it.

If you're using Discord, disable hardware acceleration - same with steam and you'll notice less load and a fairly constant FPS.

Can you really optimize a game or rather the cpu or gpu through programming?
