Should I buy the nightmare on elm street dlc?

So I haven't played DBD for three months, I use to be rank 1 every season for survivor and killer. Now if I return and everything goes well would it be worth it to sell my steam items for Freddy and Quentin?

No. Freddy got nerfed for no reason, and they just keep screwing him over with things like absurd fog.

And even if you're a surv main Quintin is pretty unimpressive. His perks are mediocre at best and he looks deformed.

Don't buy it.
Quentins perks are rubbish.
Freddys perks are situational.

Freddy plays with darkest moonlight and beyond maximum thickest fog by default to give that "dream" look.
He feels quite helpless at times because of the headstart survivors get.
When survivors have a basic understanding of their mechanics they can just blatantly do things right infront of you that you can't prevent. (More than other killers.
The basement isn't even a dangerous place vs Freddy. You can have three people run down there, unhook and all run out by the time you manage to sleep and hit one person once or sleep two people and hit none.
Hex totems are even less viable on him than other killers. It takes 10 seconds to cleanse a totem and it takes 7 seconds to put them to sleep. So unless you find them before they're 2-3 seconds into cleansing the totem, you can kiss that perk goodbye.

Freddy is a low tier killer but I do find him fun. He is very reliant on addons and he gets trolled a lot in red ranks.

Quentin on the other hand is garbage. His Perks are bad and he looks like he will trade you 2 cheeseburgers or a blow job for dope.

It might be not the greatest Killer (he is not that powerful) but he IS fun to play.

The real question would be: Do YOU want to play the characters that follow with the dlc?

No, Freddy is not very good\easy at high rank.. But i do meet a few of them at rank 5-1. Would I recommend it, NO.. Absolutely NOT. But non the less, you can have fun if you enjoy the playstyle. Not all killers must be very good at high ranks to be enjoyed a lower ranks (Even tho i think all killers should be hard to play vs):
I find it boring to play Freddy, and play against Freddy tho.

Survivors are just skins, so i wouldnt recommend paying for it, unless you want the perks asap.

Fixed the interaction & attack block during The Nightmare's power success animation. 0.5 seconds after successfully casting his ability the Nightmare can now attack or interact.

Wasn't he fixed then?

He's power is poorly made still. Survivors can go for an unhook and even heal the unhooked in your face. Sleep time takes too long, it's his main problem.
