Getting Hit While Dropping Pallets

Shouldn't be a thing, Pallets are meant to block the hit, sure if the killer is right on top of the survivor it should count but if they lunge and the pallet is dropped the survivor shouldn't be punished for it.

In the upcoming update, insta heals are being nerfed, while justifiable, the nurse was nerfed to two blinks and a recharge of 6 seconds, but that honestly just makes her more versatile than anything, and injured survivors don't get much of a chance to escape her.

Countless times, where I have been hit when near the end of the pallet dropping animation is insane, it just doesn't work, if anything they should make it so that all pallets are destroyed by killer lunge, and killers can just throw the pallet at the survivor or something. Because pallets are one of the survivors only ways to make distance.

You are being "punished" because you are dropping them too late plain and simple. Most of us don't have this issue.

8/10 downs on me are from being hit through a pallet which stuns the killer, its kinda bs, if i wasn't quick enough which does happen i go down before i slam the pallet, that's fair enough but getting the stun and still going down pfffffffffffffffffffffft

you get hit most of the times even on a drop, dedicated servers are not optimized very well

Welcome back. As for getting hit through pallet, that only happens when I over loop pallets or get too greedy for stun points.

This is due to animation coding and probably nothing's can be fixed unless they bring back old vacuums.
While you're dropping a pallet your hitbox is in the middle of the pallet instead of the opposite side of the killer.

Most decent survivor get caugh early because they're greedy. They think they can loop one more time and boom .. down they go. Very good survivors aren't so greedy,

Start dropping the pallet earlier. it just a bad habit you have and with the change coming for pallet it will be worth it.

Same issue with dead hard now - it's a latency thing!
WIth pallettes it's just more obvious.

IMO if killer and survivor end up on different sides of the palette there shouldn't be a hit!
But how do you implement that?!

Exactly. We need more survivors like you.
If anything dedicated servers are the problem today, hitboxes are definitely wonky. Last second actions more often results in you getting hit.
Prior to this in perfect green ping killers you can accurately judge whether a vault or pallet greed is safe or not.

Being hit while dropping a pallet makes literally no sense. Either you are hit and therefore your dropping is cancelled, or you successfully drop the pallet and therefore block the hit. I'm sure it's not an intended behavior, but rather some kind of bug they don't care enough to fix, so we have to deal with it.

We are rank 1 survivors for years with a lot of experience. But hey we are wrong everything is fine :-)
