If you're sprinting at all you're leaving a trail of scratch marks the killer can follow to find you.
Maybe her perks didn't show up due to a bug, and she had Whispers so that she can tell if someone is in the area.
This sounds like BBQ & Chili fyi.
Yeah, but you said "She hooks downs someone on the other side of the map. I hide in a locker."
So if they hooked someone (its hard to tell what you mean, you have an extra word in there regardless) and then you hide in a nearby locker, it's pretty logical for a killer to check where BBQ revealed your last position to be.
Any killer can find you easily if they've played the game enough and some people do stay in yellow ranks as killer/survivor because lower ranks have a stricter playstyle. Killer builds that require long drawn out gameplay aren't effective and constantly hiding for survivors isn't either. Throw in aura reading perks and it's a recipe for disaster.
There are so many Blendettes that get to red ranks where I'm at and then act like the killer won't slug and come find them like they haven't had to do that a thousand times. And they're always found.
I know a few really good killers that no longer try to make it to red ranks and play with newbies, and survivors do it too.
This isn't a hide and go seek game. I find so many survivors by accident who are hiding, and I'm only a decent killer.
Eventually you do need to lead a killer on a chase. The key is being able to break the chase by using pallets and jungle gyms to your advantage. That requires mind gaming.
Some killers due to experience know how survivors are likely to act
and how they travel.
Similar to real life hunting and trails of wildlife.
Wildlife often follows the same path due to habit.
The only thing im struggling with is the last part of your story.
That sounds rather suspicious indeed.
Perhaps there was indeed a bug that did not show any perks.
And what if they had that perk that lights up all survivors the moment
a generator is completed.... just before you went into the locker.
Without a replay function in this game, we can only guess.
(the game has no replay function)
If something is suspicious you should really get all the info you can by:
1. Spectating until the game is over
and then
2. Making note of their add ons and perks.
Without that there's really nothing to see here unfortunately, just a single POV from someone who isn't sure what happened.
