Do people only really say gg when they win?

i say gg regardless of what happens in the game i say "gg" and then dont say anything else and leave even if i lose

I say gg if I had fun. It does mean "good game." If the game wasn't inherently fun, it wasn't good, no? If I get left on hook for no reason or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that, I ain't sayin' gg to anyone.

I only say gg as a courtesy, I mean, sometimes I say wp when the killer was actually good.

If you kill me early I leave so I can go into another match. If you kill me at the end I will say gg. I say gg when I lose, and when I win if the match was good. I'm not going to gg a face camper, or a Nurse that slugs everyone with 5 gens and Ruin up. I will gg toxic survivors when I kill them all though lol.

I mean what is the sense of saying gg if the game was clearly bad? Gg is sometimes used when survivor all die with less than 10k points or when killer didn't kill anyone and probably got bullied by swf.
Gg means good game so it should be used when game was really good not for some kind of habit or mock

U Kill 1-2 Its a EZ and a little toxic
U Kill 3-4 U are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ camper, tunneler, and so on.

I came from RTS games where the loser usually says GG first as a sign of concession. In this game it seems the toxic winners are the ones that say GG first.

as for me - if I had a fun time Lose or Win i'll say GG in this game after a few seconds of looking over perks. (I NEVER GG NOED and laugh at the people that run NOED and say GG)

That's pretty much my experience. I've had games where you meet the same people back to back and they'll 'GG' when they win and dead silence when they lose. In games like that I just copy paste "No GG?" just to tease. Sometimes they'll take it lightly and say I they didn't even have a chance to say anything.

but no matter what the game, most people's GG's are reserved to when they win. If I really thought it was a good game I would say something specific about the match that I thought was funny/cool. Like when a freddy got a 4k entity sacrifice using BW. lol, that was actually funny.

I say GG regardless of whether I won or lost, or if it went "fair" or not. The word fair is misused so much in this community.
I say GG because its just a polite thing to do, and politeness is a rarity in this community.

i feel saying gg after a game is based on the context of the game toxic surivors who say gg are being rude imo and toxic killer how say gg are also rude. but if its a close hard fought game i still say gg even if i die

This, if i had a fun game, win or lose, ill say gg unless im put out early and headed to the next match.

If someones playing 3-5 blink nurse with a mori or camping from the get go then i will not say gg. It most likely was not a gg to me.

If all 4 survivors urbanly evade around from locker to locker not doing anything, i will also not say gg. It is boring and unfun on my end.
