Ghostface was only a name used from many people to kill some dudes.
Freddy is freddy in every film.
Plus you can easily kill Ghostface with shooting in his head.
Try this with freddy..
more badass and much more of a threat than ghostface
So what can Freddy do? In his dream world, literally anything. He controls what goes on, and can make anything happen. It's as if he has the reality stone. Outside of the dream world however, he's just a normal dude with finger knives.
Ghostface in both the dream world and the real world is a normal person with nothing but a knife and intellect. This clearly would give Freddy the advantage. However, as seen from the first movie, Freddy can be pulled out of the dream world if you are holding onto him when you wake up.
So say Ghostface was put to sleep, and is now in the dream world. The only way Ghostface could win is if he had something or someone to wake him up. Say an alarm clock. Not only that, but he has to have a hold of Freddy when the alarm goes off. While Ghostface is a lot smarter than any of Freddy's victims, this is still a difficult task. Chances are Freddy would finish him off before he got that chance.
