As it is, there's no good reason why we would or should care about the sexuality of in game characters. It adds exactly nothing to the game. It doesn't further the LGBTQ community in any way, and in fact, could easily be turned in to harm.
I mean, can't we just happily kill survivors in peace without worrying if we're committing a hate crime at the same time?
How do you know that for example Nea isn't lesbian? Or how do you know that Dwight isn't gay?
This is a multiplayer horror game, focused on either escaping or killing, there's nothing in here where sexual orientation needs to play a role.
The majority of the people don't hate LGBTQ+, but it gets annoying that things like this need to be pushed into our faces whenever we wish to just enjoy this game, book, movie, series, whatever the case may be, that person A is associated with LGBT or not.
Sorry if I do sound disrespectful or aggressive, I do not mean it, but if this is the case, then why only include a minority like LGBT, why not native americans? Or rather, why stop there, why not include more minorities throughout the entire world?
