Ain't that a bit of a strategy for cowards?
1st: You normally chain attack with Victor, because it's a bit tedious to tag someone and move with Charlotte and release Victor again. Better mostly to down injured then latch on healthy Survivor.
And 2nd: I don't slug unless there's a reason to, but sounds like a personal issue where someone slugged you while you were using No Mither? Too specific lmao. Also, it's No Mither. Free Unbreakables doesn't mean someone would leave you on the ground especially experienced players.
With caviar, sometimes with salmon (but salmon is optional).
It was more of a question, if you do go for the weak players yourself wih Charlotte, or with Vic?
It was more of a question of your personal preferences.
like general things, i got them p1 15 in december but i never touched them again with how hard they were and frustrating, but with the changes and the time, anything obvious i need to know that'll make my experience better?
for reference i'm a rank 2-1 trickster main with a butt ton of hours so i am a decent killer i think, i just don't know how to use the twins' power properly
They're certainly hard to control due to the positioning and general mobility. Charlotte has to carry his brother like a mobile transport and park herself somewhere to let Victor do the doing by "slowing" down the process of Survivors' actions. It's a bit mouthful but I'll try to give my best explanation on this:
The Twins concept is basically a tag team play, where you tag one of them do one of its problem solving, either doing main objective like hooking or keep on pushing the nerves of Survivors by giving them pressure on healing and separating them from doing gens. And Victor takes time to get rid of, but if you get rid of Victor. You're deadlocked on where you stand (which most users still make very bad decisions on this while in chases) since Charlotte can easily catch you while you do the full animation on crushing Victor off of your head. You have to keep him on your head as a... flawed tactic that works while in chase which honestly never should bother Survivor much just like being in Madness Tier III or almost like Plague's vomit. But that still doesn't stop you from looping (unlike Tier III very low chance of screaming and stopping your actions).
To clarify, mainly Victor is still an issue for being a Twin main. Victor is still weak. Some say they're good in good hands but that would be false: because you're gonna be slugging every Survivor if you keep on spamming Victor to latch off of your womb. Just to do damage. But there are medkits, and there are healing perks that still counter this. And I don't give a damn about that penalty how it doesn't allow you to heal up, it's very short and not helpful just to regress the Survivor's process on their objectives. Additionally being injured also compensates Survivors' other perks to activate so they're mostly fearless.
The Twins are basically like a crooked basically to drive and park. I'm also saying crooked because there is STILL 0.1% chance of appearing with glitched up camera view of Victor's head being crooked and sometimes being stuck on the terrain floor. Ironically after the fixes. They're fun when they work out but their horrid strategy to win is a camp'n'slug game. You have to pressure by keep giving Victor into being the main star here. You can also block entrances and loops with Charlotte but need to park correctly and know which loop can be stopped, if parked wrong, get ready to lose Victor and get stunned with a pallet and on for more seconds of loss. You can also very easily camp places, even better if you can predict where Survivor's will go next and can sabotage with Charlotte if you can blend in well.
Also, three fun facts: Charlotte is very quiet as stationary once switched to Victor.
And other fact is that Victor is a bit loud giving away his position when parked up. While in control of Charlotte. Meaning it's harder for Victor to stay on the ground than it is for Charlotte.
And lastly, Victor is a projectile once used pounce ability, kind of like Huntress's hatchets but it's a window plane sized. (Basically the hitbox is a... box) it can be stretched out even bigger if on bad ping.
I should also mention that once Victor is latched on, it feels like you're having Pig's baptism trap on your head temporarily. Which is good and bad at the same time.
But the main question is also, are they fun altogether like this to play? The answer is yes and no. As mentioned before, Victor is the issue, he still has small window of actions. And I'd wish that he could at least damage gens since I don't see how small man can't damage wires of a generator for example. And second, The Twins's gameplay and gimmick is to stomp on Survivors and penalize them but it is VERY weak on the par compared that Victor is still the same M1 Killer, that ironically doesn't put much effort than being your average M1 Killer that downs and moves on to another. Because it kinda is the truth. Two kills in one that just can down and almost have small time to even hook someone if you did one mistake, cause at the end of the day it's gonna feel like you're playing against a slugging Killer. Which is even embarrassing for me to play even but it is her. I dislike and like them at the same time but the gameplay is really staggering.
Well, depends who memes first. The handy user who's good for looping long enough with No Mither or The Twins sparing a good chap. But I'd just down No Mither user with Victor just to give No Mither users a chance. Even if they have Dead Hard I guess.
But no slug on them.
Figures, Nea is probably from the same family as the twins, she kinda resembles Víctor
