I'd love a DbD Scooby Doo demake/TC. It would be rad as hell. Setting traps for the killer and the 'evil mastermind' can rig the level for surprises, similar to the recent Res Evil game. Scoobies need to collect clues and then pull off their mask to reveal their identity!

Attack on Titan is on a Collab/Crossover spree right now. The Giants/Titans (haven't seen so don't know the correct term) are not to scale in Collab/Crossover. Some times they are just skins for existing characters. They are always in Chars/Mobs range of height. Keep in mind I am saying in other games they have recently being added to. I know they have their own stuff so I assume in their games they are proper scale. But in collabs/crossovers they haven't been to scale. I also noticed only males for the Giants/Titans. I assume because most games don't want topless females of any species/race/whatever.



I did not take part in the survey you guys took. I can think of things that would be fun crossovers/collabs. But then my mood is soured because I remember the great war on Anime and Japanese Games being built up right now. There are Propagandist that are targeting World Leaders with their perfectly cut propaganda. The World Leaders are usually Elderly and unfamiliar with Japanese Games and Anime. Not realizing Mario Bros is Japanese and Pokemon is Anime. The Propagandist presentations and claims are things like all Anime and Japanese Games contain no clothes on 9 year olds doing the nasty and getting graphically slaughtered on screen.

Due to this insanity there is kinda a noone under 20 allowed line of thinking in a few countries right now when it comes to new content. Not the players. The characters. Which is a massive bummer when you think of how many High Schoolers are in Anime and Japanese Games.

Right now the best country to point out when it comes to this mess is Australia but it is not the only country. It's just the easiest to follow for me because English.


On a lighter note I thought of an Anime I don't think I'd like to play a game involving but the Mori... Deathnote. Just have your character collapse while some monster becomes visible that is just staring causally while floating and eating something. I don't see "old" anime and games as being impossible because The United States of America and Japan are on a streak of remaking or returning Animation and Games. The Anti-Anime & Japanese Games propaganda on the other hand.

Personally, I really don't like anime so making an Anime specific character would just confuse me. Even with the new killer (K-Pop man), the chapter bombed because majority of the player base doesn't care about K-Pop or anime.

So let me get this straight, you're calling the WHOLE series an anime just because they only added a dlc guest character in Tekken 7 for the fans from a game that got very popular at that time that wasn't even related to Tekken in anyway?

How much anime have you actually tried to watch? It's like anything, you won't like a lot of it, but everyone can find something they love sooner or later. It's not just magical girls, stompy robots or pocket monsters... it's literally every genre (and a lot of ones that don't exist outside of it). Some of the best drama or historical fiction is animated. Just saying you don't like it is like saying you don't like movies, TV or books (it's more likely you just don't like specific types of those things).

As for 'the majority of the player base doesn't care' - that's really the point of the survey... and if they're making these kind of characters, and asking these kind of questions (or they're simply aware of the fact that western anime is growing rapidly, and we've had recent well received anime series based on games like Dota) it seems correct to assume the opposite. Anime is more popular than not amongst gamers in general, and I would assume that within a playerbase like DbD especially it's even more popular than average. DbD has the cult horror crowd and the alternative crowd so these people tend to be drawn to different cultural experiences.
