Your best bet is to keep your eyes and ears open, play SUPER stealthy, do not EVER run anywhere (also don't fast jump over obstacles, etc) and get out of his line of sight immediately if you see him coming for you.
it's pretty hard doing generators on macmillian and then getting lose of this maniac. or rescuing someone from the hook without beeing the one hanging on it next. he is just too fast
What do you mean by "at tier 2 he is faster and can down you" ?
He can down you at all tiers. He can one-shot you at tier 3.
What you've said makes it sound like he either can't attack at tier 1 or can one-shot at tier 2, which is wrong.
Okay, bad choice of words. When I say 'down' I mean 'one-shot,' Sorry for the confusion. and I meant at tier 2, he's faster and can still attack you, but not down you.
And I did say this for tier 3 " can down and kill you in one hit"
he doesn't have to be right up on your ass to stalk you, he can do it from a distance away once he has a clear view
basically you can stalk someone outside the terror radius
Which is why you have to be very vigilant in keeping a look out. If you see him pass by a distance away, hide. If you see him attack someone or charge his power, hide. Basically, hide at all times unless super sure, lol.
Stage 2: Terror Radius 16m, normal speed, better lunge.
Stage 3: Terror Radius normal, fast vaulting, one-shot for 60s.
Stage 1 is also immune to Premonition and Spine Chill, so it's better than Insidious and Wraith's cloak for that matter when they still can be detected via those perks.
For a less smartass answer, you can faintly hear him breathing through his mask when he's close. It'll be drowned out by loud noises like repairing a generator but it can still be done. Heard him through a wall and it scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me.
its only since this killer came along i realize just how completely unaware and useless some people are with out spine chill or prem
i would literally just be watching MM from behind while he just steers into the soul of some unsuspecting moron working on a gen
in some cases i run up to them and point in his direction, its kinda funny sometimes though that is until he gets level 3 then i get the hell outta dodge
I know, I never realized it was such a noob crutch.
