The mmr system isn't even worth considering at this point, it's not like devs know what win condition they want to have in the game anyway.
Like, credit where credit is due but most of them die with like, 7 to 10k bloodpoints at most.
When you die, you lose points based on your MMR vs the killers. Your MMR being higher then the killer's will mean you lose more points, up to a cap of 20. It being lower then the killer's MMR means you lose fewer points, likely to a minimum of 1 point.
As a killer, you gain 1-5 points per survivor you killed and lose 1-5 points for survivors that escaped. Again, the amount gained or lose is based on your MMR vs the MMR of the survivor in question.
Your match making rating, or MMR, is NOT connected to your grade. Emblems have no impact on your MMR.
By recruiting friends to go in with you, instead of solo queuing. Note, I am not saying "form a voice chat using SWAT unit". I am saying party up with friends who know how to play and are willing to actually play. Even if you don't use voice chat, you'll find you have team mates that are contributing.
So that clauddette you see hiding in lockers all game and escapes through hatch? Probably has a higher rating than you who have looped the killer for most of the game and died to noed.
If you're talking about your grade you see, it's just the pip system which was what was used before the "secret" mmr system which basically translates to more time played = higher your grade regardless of win or loss.
