That doesn't speak very highly of you then. Why not actually play the game you agreed to play when you queued up? Why bail on everyone else who knew the rules...
♥♥♥♥ like this... Killers hate it, team mates hate it... the devs really should hate it more...
You're not wrong. There's not a real win-win situation for either side without the devs actually trying to fix the game at it's core. Either run meta perks and be a meta slave, or get ♥♥♥♥ on by those who run them.
You know what I find weird? When the discussion of DS comes up what is the FIRST thing EVERY survivor says? "Just slug and leave them on the ground. CoUnTeReD". Then they apparently all dc because it's toxic...
Wrong. If there was 0 chance, then you did not prepare well enough with your perks and offerings. You have a lot of time prematch to talk to your teammates to sync up perks and items. Instead, all 4 of course chose to run the exact same 4 meta perks. The killer won because of it, and the survivors took it away from him. He probably even deranked because dcing is so fair and balanced. Play the game and stop being stupid. More people will have fun and have less to complain about if people would just play the bloody game instead of whining about every single thing
So why do Survivors disconnect?
It's like inviting 4 of my friends over for dinner. We all start to eat, but during the meal I start to bind them to their chairs and gag them one by one. I then sit back down and continue eating my own dinner. Then I get upset that they don't want to watch me eat and are trying to break their bindings.
Why don't you want to watch me eat? Isn't it fun???? I'm having fun! Why aren't you having fun!?!?!? Why aren't you eating!!!??! WHY!?!?!?!!?!?!?
It's like disconnecting during...well...literally any other PVP game because you hate what the other side is doing. You're not teaching the other side a lesson. In fact, because wins are often considered when the entire team dies/disconnects in DBD, disconnections would actually encourage it.
I played in the haydays before the disconnection penalty and I can tell you that the first survivor I downed would disconnect half the time, No matter what killer I played or when the down occurred. I've had people disconnect at 0 gens done, and even when I downed someone for the first time after 3 gens were done, they disconnected (TLDR: I often don't give a rats ass about 'winning')
It was annoying from a survivor perspective, but amusing from a killer's end. People feel as if they're entitled to "Teach" one side to play a specific way, but you'd think after 4 years of trying they'd figure out it doesn't work.
If people want to keep disconnecting, I can't do anything to stop them. Maybe if you keep getting slugged, bring unbreakable, as it's literally a free damn perk on Bill in the first place.
