People tend to overuse the term "Toxic". It lost it's true meaning. You play DBD=Toxic. You think about playing DBD=Toxic. You exist=Toxic. I think you get the point by now.

Your survivor? Toxic.
Your killer? Toxic.
Perks? Toxic.
The way he walks across the map? Toxic.
Hotel? Trivago.

People don't like Claudette because 9 out of 10 times the player playing her is immersed and is easy prey. She is a noob magnet due to Self Care and because she has very dark clothing options, which makes hiding easier.

They just don't like how she can blend in with many environments, I play Adam for the same reason.

Claudette's originally became toxic, because back in the day, they had an outfit, that made them practically invisible on a lot of the maps. So people looking to MAX out perceived stealth, pick Claudette.

The sheer number of try-hards running Claudette was very high. So they slowly became a "TOXIC" factor Killers blamed for only seeing them when they were out in the open.

Last time I was on Thompson House I had a Claudette hiding upstairs for 3 minutes while someone was on a hook right outside, even after she self-cared (empathy). She would not come out and forced an injured person to go for the unhook and the hooked guy still went to 2nd stage.

Thats why, in a nutshell. Immersed Blendettes are useless like half of the time. They freeze if they hear a heartbeat and will not reveal themselves unless the killer is literally blocking them in a corner.

Claudette or also called "Blendette" was considered to be one of the best survivor-characters since she was impossible to see in certain spots (due to her dark cosmetics). BHVR lightened them a bit up and made some more colorful to remove that effect, but she still is very hard to see with her prestige-outfit and darker clothing. Also she still has that reputation on her to be picked by mainly toxic people/swf who like to abuse game flaws to win a game.

It's sad. I like Claudette as a character. Was my main a while back - but killers noticibly hate her a lot, regardless of how you play or what you wear.

Most people who play claudette play her for the godamm invisibility cloak, and are therefore tryhards. Some are also really immersed bastards who self care in the corner so even their own team can hate them.

Overall Claudette just has a really bad reputation going for her...

Adam might be a "noob" character but at least he's not known too negatively lmao.
If you wanna blend but not be associated with Claud go brown coat red pants p3 head Adam. Works just as well.

You're toxic if you exist in the game, that's just DbD. That being said, it's probably because most people behaving that way are playing as claudette because of her P3 skin which basically gives her super camoflauge outisde of a 10m range.

As a rule, you never waste your time trying to understand the feelings of others.
"Toxic" is meaningless now, it has been dilluted and used for everything.

claudettes are not toxic, they are dumb

It is because toxic SWFs pick her mostly because it is easy to go invisible. She is not the only one, Dwight with hairstyles, Nea, Meg, Ace also used a lot by toxic SWF
