Has Anyone Else Noticed Extra Killer Aggression While Wearing the Pride Charm

As the question in the header asks, has anyone else experienced extra aggression while wearing the Pride Charm?!

I’d only just started wearing it and at first I thought it was coincidental but last night I think the charm triggered the killer.

I was able to finished 2 of the 5 generators myself and I’d unhooked survivors on 4 separate occasions but the killer finally hooked me. Upon being hooked, the killer wouldn’t stop slashing my character—which he didn’t do to anyone else—because I was able to unhook them effortlessly—and then he/she would just pace back and forth and nod.

I really just thought at first that the killer was being funny. But then, the other two survivors crept over and he/she would not pursue either of the two remaining survivors at all. He/she allowed them to unhook me so that he/she could then knock me down again and rehook me. The killer then slashed at me and nodded until another survivor came over to unhook me so then he/she stopped and allowed me to be unhooked. Then—just like before—he/she knocked me down and rehooked me.

The killer hadn’t done this to any of the other survivors and while I spectated he/she didn’t do this to the other survivors either.

I don’t T-Bag or use flashlights so I wasn’t being unsportsmanlike—so I couldn’t help but wonder if the Pride Charm—something only my survivor donned in that match—triggered the killer.

As a console player I couldn’t ask the killer his or her motives, but I’d not seen a killer that selectively aggressive in a long time.

Does anyone else have a similar experience that might be associated with the Pride Charm?

I love my Dwighty gay version of Shaggy but lately i get camped tunelled & slugged like never before, even by so wannabe twitchers and don't even want to mention the end game chat conversations here
I see what devs did, putting this "pride" charm showing them political support view but didn't "think" never think how bad this would be for players because of it, they forgot how toxic and sick this community is and "some" players only need a little reason to show the real toxic face... nothing to be "pride" about it. I think they should remove it, there is no place for such political views in a game which is 99% toxic.

You’re totally correct that I’m not sure why I was targeted—which is why I posed this question to see if others were targeted for the charm. I’m not salty about being killed—that’s literally the killer’s objective. If I’d filmed it, I think you’d have a hard time defending alternative stances.

I always wear it and no, never got targeted for it and sincerely tunneling and these weird behaviours form the killers have always been in dbd.
So... no biggie.

You should never be targeted for what you are wearing, for your color & gender or even religion, not outside of your house & not online as well ! And who is saying otherwise aka "Just stop. In the world of someone who is dillusional, everyone else that goes against their agenda is ignorant, uneducated, wrong etc etc...

To me any player in the game is just a player.
I do not care about their personal lives, neither do i want to know.

I consider them part of the game as anonymous players to have fun with, to engage wih, to make stories with.

And then the devs include a real world political logo and the people in zealous support of it start seeing enemies behind every tree of the forest.

Everyone else just sees trees.

i think you might be focusing your attention on that more so than its actually occuring.
I was accused of it 4 times today and once or twice yesterday despite the fact that i have it on my hook.
The last thing im looking at is someones charm, unless theyre on the ground and it helps me find them easier.

All charms are invisible 90% of the time for a killer, you focus on the chase and the hooks, not the 5cm long barely visible items on the survivor.

League has a lot of lgbt flags, if you wear an icon you leave a flag coloured trail when leaving base.
